Family Portrait 2010

Here is the annual family portrait for 2010. It's a charcoal drawing with my son holding up a bit of magic for all of us to admire. This photo is not the best. The original is not quite as grainy or dark.

Grandparents and Grandkids

I had to take a break from "The Other Cup" to draw a couple portraits for Christmas. This is a charcoal portrait of my parents cuddling with my children.

finished "Poverty's Sacrifice"

Ah, all done. This was a great painting. My soul lives in this one (as you can plainly see).

Painted the Golden Goddess and her purse. Started the clothes of the slave.

Removed mask and filled in figure. Added base layers then built up the shading and details.
